Designed for industrial-type shop environments, outdoor point-of-sale kiosks, tradeshows, drone controllers and much more. The indoor / outdoor hood creates a shaded environment for the operator's screen which helps reduce glare from overhead or ambient light. This hood is constructed of lightweight, durable corrugated plastic (as opposed to the office model made of high-density fiberboard). These hoods can get wet and are easy to clean when grease, dirt, and dust are present. The material is resistant to sun exposure and holds up well to being exposed to temperature extremes. As an added benefit, the hood provides some privacy from side-viewing to help keep sensitive data safe from visual snooping.

Super strong dual-locking adhesive strips ensure a secure fit which help keep the hood anchored for outdoor conditions. Please note: The hood will not hold up to high winds. If the hood is attached to an outdoor monitor, the front edge may catch the wind and cause problems.

This hood is completely customizable and can accommodate installation on stand-alone and in-set screens. The hood ships flat and requires minimal set-up. Simply remove the hood from the box and install the adhesive strips. The corresponding locking strips (think strong Velco) will then be installed on your display.
