What is the most effective way to clean my screen?
The devices we use and depend on are vulnerable to scratches and damage by sharp objects or unsuitable cleaners; therefore, they require special attention. Here are some simple tips to keep your electronic device's screen clean and safe.
- Ensure the screen is turned off and cool before cleaning.
- Wipe the screen using light pressure.
- Use clean, microfiber cloths, or lint-free wipes.
- Apply the cleaning solution to the cloth first, then wipe the screen. Avoid spraying cleaner directly onto the screen to prevent excess liquid from seeping into the device's electronics.
- Avoid cleaners that contain ammonia or alcohol, as they can damage factory-installed anti-glare screens and cause streaking.
- For best results, use a high-quality cleaning solution with a microfiber cloth. Microfiber cloths are made of super-fine, soft filaments that attract dust and oils without producing lint.

Why should ammonia-based cleaners be avoided?
We advise against using ammonia-based cleaners on any screen. While our protectors can withstand harsh cleaners, it's best to avoid products like window cleaning solutions designed for glass. These cleaners often leave streaks on TVs, computers, and other electronic device screens. Additionally, ammonia in these formulas can shorten the lifespan of screen materials and may have unpredictable effects on anti-glare coatings.

How can I remove marker from my screen?
- For light ink marks, like those from dry erase or Crayola washable markers, use a microfiber cloth dampened with water or a cleaning solution.
- For darker marks, such as permanent marker, use pre-moistened Optical Wipes.
- For tough, old, or stubborn marks, gently wipe a microfiber cloth dampened with isopropyl alcohol.
Caution: Use this method only as a last resort. Regular use of alcohol on screens is not advised, as it can cause damage by drying them out and making them brittle.
