25 Years of Innovation & Growth
Photodon began in the basement of founders Don and Jeanette Basch’s home, where Don designed and built monitor hoods to reduce glare for photo editing projects. These first hoods soon led to smaller visors for camera displays and, eventually, anti-glare screen protectors. Back then, screen protectors were cut by hand, making custom cutouts a real challenge.
Today, Photodon operates out of a 7,500-square-foot facility. Our monitor hoods and camera visors evolved into large screen hoods, and we’ve designed a sturdy hood that can be used outdoors. We’ve expanded into the privacy filter market and offer 12 different screen protector material types. We run three laser machines that are extremely precise and make life much easier than the hand-cutting days! We have 13 dedicated employees on our team who make the magic happen daily.
What hasn’t changed are the owners and their guiding beliefs and principles: work with integrity, source high-quality materials, provide the best customer service possible, always strive for improvement, and treat employees like family.
